In addition to phenomenal power and acceleration, these engines are clean, quiet, smooth and economical, thanks to Yamaha's unique and fuel efficient EFI system, micro processor ECU, VCT (Variable Camshaft Timeing), blow-by gas re-burning technology, and noise reduction systems.
Yamaha F200 four stroke outboard engine features:

The first big-block four-stroke on the market was Yamaha's F225. The fuel-efficient, quiet, lightweight and responsive engine was soon joined by their F200. Four years in the making, Yamaha's F200 weighs 583 pounds, well within the capacity of most boats that would benefit from this much power.
Both the F200 and F225 are smooth, quiet and pack more power for their weight than early critics believed achievable in any four-stroke design.
